Frequently asked questions
What dental insurance do we accept?
At Fremont Natural Dentistry, we accept most PPO dental insurance plans. We DO NOT accept HMO or Alameda Alliance/Medi-Cal. If you do have an insurance plan that we are not in the network of, or do not accept, you can still become a client with us.
What are the fees for your dental services?
We DO NOT quote fees for our dental services over the phone (with the exception of your initial visit for an evaluation and x-rays or consultation). Fees for dental services can be quoted after Dr. Colin Yoshida has seen you for a comprehensive oral evaluation.
Is there a fee for consultation with the doctor?
Yes, your initial consultation is a 20 minute in person discussion with Dr. Yoshida with a fee of $136. He will answer your questions and/or concerns you may have. No additional services will be done during this initial consultation.
If I am a new patient, can treatment be done on the same day as my exam?
No, we do not offer same day treatment. A thorough examination and preparation is needed to best suit your dental and holistic needs.
Can I have a teeth cleaning on the same day as my initial exam?
We start new clients off with a 3D Cone Beam Scan or Full Mouth Set of X-Rays, and a Comprehensive Oral Evaluation. Dr. Yoshida would then give you a complete update of your oral health and we’d go from there as far as scheduling a separate appointment for a teeth cleaning or any treatment if needed.
